At Wilde and Wilde, we believe that architecture goes further than the physical art of making buildings—it's about enhancing our surroundings and making places where people want to be. Every project, whether residential, commercial, or public, begins with understanding our clients' needs and aspirations. Our experienced team works closely with clients to develop designs that not only look great but are also energy efficient and practical.

Our approach is characterized by using traditional skills alongside modern technology and keen attention to detail. From the initial concept to the finished product, we focus on creating well considered designs, tailored to the resident and building user. Whether we’re designing the extension to an historic water mill, creating a modern kitchen-diner in the Norfolk Broads, or new space for expanding business, our goal is always to create environments that work well, with bespoke features and timeless styling that will endure.

" This is a one of a kind location and the proposals that you have developed are simply wonderful.

We can imagine ourselves living in the home that you have designed for us for the rest of our lives "

Wilde and Wilde has extensive experience working on projects from contemporary to traditional in nature, and sometimes a juxtaposition of both! including historically sensitive locations and Listed Buildings. The oldest buildings we have worked on so far date from the Domesday Book and a house in Suffolk from Elizabethan times, with Roman artifacts found in the lower foundation layers. So, if you are looking for a Listed Building architect or a renovation architect in Norwich, why not give us a call. We work throughout East Anglia on all work stages including Planning, Building Regulations, Technical Design and Contract Administration.

We work with Nature. Focusing towards on-site biodiversity net-gain, creating buildings and landscapes that are resource efficient and fit in with their natural surroundings. To help achieve this, at an early stage in each project, we look at the local micro-climate, building orientation, natural light and shade. Modern design tools allow energy usage to be predicted during the planning phase.

Material selection, construction type and process are assessed early on, seeking to reduce reliance on products or assemblies where a more environmentally-friendly and affordable alternative is available. Another aspect of sustainable specification which we consider is sourcing and using products that are readily available locally. We also look to minimise construction waste as far as possible.

Our portfolio is full of interesting and varied works, urban and rural. An architect team that creates design solutions which are sometimes shaped and styled to fit in, and others that are meant to boldly stand out, ranging from modest interventions to new contemporary structures. Practicality and build-ability at heart; we champion good craftsmanship and enjoy working alongside other specialist firms and trades-people to deliver projects in and around Norwich, Norfolk and Suffolk.
